Today I got welcome letter just for me, but status shows "Decision" since May 2nd for both of us.
Welcome letter says that what I got is a courtesy, original notice has been sent to to attorney. Does it mean the cards will be sent to Attorney as well? My attorney is tough to get hold of, never responds calls or emails.

Great Job, Kudos to you for making such an effort.
Similar to this, we need as many efforts as we can have.
To further continue this effort, I would suggest writing letters to your local congress rep & Senator, particularly those who have been waiting for over 5 years.
More effective approach will be to contact local media.
Since we have a unique situation, I would recommend start a request to separate legal employment based migrants from other categories.
BOTTOM LINE: We can not wait for CIR, this is NOT about comprehensive immigration reform, this is a requirement from current employment based immigration system.
Similar to this, we need as many efforts as we can have.

For your PD and EB category, you are able to enjoy 4 years of AOS benefits just because of IV. You will soon get your GC, only because of IVs continuous fight with CIS.. But hey you won't see it because it all happens behind the scene and someone else is picking your tab...

Now you are going to tell me, my higher education is due to IV, me coming to US is due to IV, me getting bachelors, masters, phd is due to IV, me getting H1 B visa approval and stamping, My getting EB 2 filed approved is caz of IV. , labor approval, 2 yr eads, medical appointments are all due to IV. When I was in trouble, I threw some money at Ms Sheela (not Sheela from sheela ki jawani) and voila , I had solution for my problems. IF we are legal here, we need to be afraid of anything, else glad to go back home.

When we were running this campaign with a goal to reach 10,000 members most of us were hitting a wall with a lot of new people on H1.
It seemed like a lot of new people (newly on H1- ONLY 2-3 years on a H1) did not seem to care about the issues surrounding EB Visas and the employment based GC-MESS. They simply were too new and frankly had not filed their permanent labor or given a thought about it. They were/are naive about the steps involved, the complications and the number of years it will take w/retrogression.
With this new bill S1035 in debate restricting H1-Renewals and other such things, we can get a lot of these people's attention.
So lets reach out to these people again, and get them involved. We need a lot of strength in terms of number of members and sorry, the annoying other item that I am scared to talk about is more $$.

I agree with you, it cannot much longer than what it is now. And also, 2008 is election period and new regime may handle it differently.

Stillhopefull you have been current for a while, so they should be working on yours...one would think...I do believe Texas is behind though, according to the uscis web site Nebraska is processing July and Texas not yet.
