hellomms Could you gather all such people who are facing this issue and want to join the effort to fix it, at a single place on an IV thread. Once we have a sizable number of people to take initiative this effort can be successful. It is difficult to divert attention and resources for a single person. Each immigration issue that our community faces is important to the person suffering from it. IV is a place where people can get together and do something about fixing it.

I think everyone is interested in fighting amongst themselves over I-485 instead of doing something for IV. They will never do any effort but will spend lot of time complaining and writing about their big ideas on the forums. I think moderators should not even respond to members that have not yet updated their profiles. This will compell everyone to update their profile. Membership is also not increasing. How many of us have used the invite your friend tool till now?

My perm labor was filed Tuesday evening and it was approved by Thursday evening. Perm labor was certified in 2 days. That was amazing!! :)
Hta's great, I really hope Atlanta would start moving. Mine is over a month now but there are lot of applications over 90 days.

Can someone help me with this...
As per the new rules for indian passport nenewal, you are supposed to fill an online form which would prepare a PDF file with your entries , and then you have to take a printout and submit it at the cosulate.
But the problem is, there are many more questions in the PDF from which are not even mentioned in the online form.
My dilemma is,
What do I do with the entries in the PDF form (passport) that are NOT filled by the online form ? Am I supposed to fill them by pen or just leave them alone ?

actually you are insane. just because you have contributed money does not make you sane !!
and you should be the first one to ask for action items (since I guess you have really donated 2400 dollars) ..or are you planning to donate 5000 dollars more without asking anything in return ? GC is moving target, looks like some drunkard wakes up one fine morning and randomly moves the priority date value/importance. I know those in such situation may be relatively less in number but I know many who are and repurcussions for this look horrible for people who have not made past this luck test. I was one of the unlucky ones :(. good luck to guys who have moved forward hope you still help rest of us still stuck.

I have a question here. Since TSC processing time is 04/30/2007 and NSC is 06/08/2007. Does that mean even EB-1 will have to wait until the processing time to their RD ?
eg, If you are EB-1 just file your 485 this month, but the processign center time not get to 04/2008 for another 2 years, then even you are EB-1 which is always current(for right now), you still not able to get your GC in two years ?

Congrats! Yes, you can apply for I-485. The physician will keep a note on your medical report and you can do the needy tests later.

When new system comes those who are in older system are impacted. That is always happening. If CIR comes with point system then those who are applying in 2008 will get gc within a few months and those who are waiting for years and years will wait for more years. So it depends on when you come and when you apply

Lets start a Rally or sending letters...Lets do something so that our pain..plight gets highlighted...It's really frustrating inspite of such backlogs people just keep quiet and don't do anything about it....I just can't imagine waiting another 5 yrs to get my GC....Lets get started with a Rally
